The Role

Overview

Perform protection and secondary system maintenance on HV substations in SA/NSW

Tasks

-Conduct isolation, tagging, and safety processes for HV systems. -Work closely with engineers and HV testers on-site to complete maintenance scopes safely and efficiently. -Complete maintenance records, reports, and test sheets accurately. -Support transformer refurbishment and maintenance programs. -Carry out protection and secondary systems maintenance on live substations. -Perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of protection relays, control panels, and wiring systems.

What You Bring

Protection Maintenance Field Technician (Trade Skilled) x 3 - 275kV-500kV Substation Projects - South Australia & New South Wales, Australia - $Excellent Daily Rate - 12 Month Contract + Potential Extensions - December or January Start Date - Monday to Friday (10 hour days) -Proven experience working in HV substation environments. -Ability to work long and varied shifts (8–12 hours/day) and travel across regional sites. -Electrical trade qualification or apprenticeship background (essential). -Strong commitment to safety and quality standards. -Competence in protection and control maintenance tasks.
