Tasks

-Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex project challenges -Travel to client and project sites as needed -Lead technical execution for large or complex multi-disciplinary projects -Lead business development efforts to expand client relationships and market presence -Identify opportunities to enhance Wright-Pierce’s project standards and execution -Represent Wright-Pierce in relevant industry organizations and events -Manage municipal water and wastewater projects including water source, distribution, and storage projects, as well as wastewater collection, pumping and treatment -Ensure all project requirements and deliverables are met on time and within budget -Supervise the preparation of technical drawings, specifications and bid packages -Oversee project budget, schedule, production and quality control across all phases -Mentor and develop staff, fostering their professional growth -Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams to ensure project success

What You Bring

-10+ years of experience in drinking water and/or wastewater project engineering -Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with others to capitalize on Wright-Pierce’s collective capabilities and knowledge -Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required -Attributes: Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven, with exceptional attention to detail. -Team Building: Ability to develop strong relationships with coworkers and build effective teams -Knowledge: Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations and funding processes. -Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) required. Experience with Bluebeam is preferred. -B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering or similar -Business Development: Effective client relationship and exceptional proposal generation skills -Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
