Tasks

The role involves planning and scheduling for heavy civils & groundworks projects during preconstruction, ensuring alignment with client requirements and internal governance. To develop and manage robust preconstruction programmes for heavy civils & groundworks., ensuring accurate planning, sequencing, and project controls. The role requires expertise in Primavera P6, project controls, and experience in Data Centres or similar complex environments. -Stakeholder Coordination – Work closely with clients, design teams, and internal departments to ensure programme accuracy and feasibility. -Programme Development – Create and maintain detailed preconstruction programmes using Primavera P6, incorporating design, procurement, and construction phases. -Reporting – Provide clear and timely reports to the Preconstruction Manager and senior stakeholders. -Continuous Improvement – Contribute to planning process improvements and innovation within the preconstruction team. -Risk & Opportunity Management – Identify risks and opportunities within the programme and develop mitigation strategies. -Change Control – Manage programme changes and maintain accurate configuration documentation. -Governance & Compliance – Ensure planning processes align with company governance and industry best practices. -Project Controls – Implement robust project controls, including progress monitoring, reporting, and forecasting.

Personal Specification -Membership of APM or equivalent professional body. -Professional qualification in Planning, Project Management, or related discipline. -Experience in Data Centres or similar complex projects. -Proficiency in Primavera P6 and project controls. -Proven experience as a Planner in heavy civils & groundworks.. -Strong analytical and organisational skills.
