Lead survey team, manage clients, schedules, budgets, and ensure quality for land surveys.

Tasks

-Supervise office and field survey staff -Responsible for the financial outcome of survey tasks and projects -Correspond and coordinate with clients -Mentoring survey office staff and field staff -Prepare survey task outlines with the role and responsibility of each survey staff assigned to the project -Prepare proposal scoping and fees -Provide mentoring for survey office and field staff -Perform quality control checks of field survey data collection and office survey computations and completed survey drawings -Perform kickoff meetings with engineering managers and clients to confirm the limits of the survey, the scope of work, and key Briefing and Debriefing of field crews on daily work performed -Oversee scheduling of field and office survey staff -Perform troubleshooting on challenges encountered on survey task assignments -Track project schedule and budget

-Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent survey task assignments -Excellent organizational skills and following AMT survey protocol -Excellent client services and client management skills -Virginia Licensed Surveyor -Ability to work under and respond to stressful situations -Ability to operate a financially successful team -Valid Driver's License and safe driving record -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills -Supervisory experience, leadership skills, and well as written and oral communication skills -Bachelor's Degree in Geography, surveying, or engineering preferred -10+ years of surveying experience or comparable survey coursework with degree
