Assist carpentry team in furniture fabrication, tool operation, and warehouse tasks

Tasks

-Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), and weekends as production needs require -Address and resolve issues during the assembly process. -Work with a team dedicated to creating world-class design solutions. -Assist with the warehouse team during down times, operating fork lift and preparing orders for shipment -Report to the Carpentry team lead to assist with production and fabrication of furniture as required. -Maintain product quality in adherence to company standards.

What You Bring

-Proven history of carpentry work on furniture pieces or related products -High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills during the production process. -Competent using wood working machinery, power tools and associated hardware to perform a variety of tasks in the fabrication process. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. -Able to read and interpret work shop drawings, blue prints and assembly instructions to produce product as required -Fluent in English (Spanish beneficial but not essential) -Forklift certified, or willing to complete a course upon hire -Knowledge of wood staining, prepping and finishing practices -Willingness to learn new carpentry techniques and machinery operations as projects require. -Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team, taking direction from the team lead
