Overview

Community liaison driving brand awareness & supporting marketing initiatives in CT/RI

Tasks

-Ensure consistent branding across all channels, maintaining a positive and impactful brand image. -Plan and execute community events and activations with partners, aiming for at least 2 external events per month. -Develop basic understanding of digital marketing, including paid search, SEO, LSA, and other online channels, to optimize online presence and reach target audiences. -Activate marketing tactics, covering traditional and digital channels, to achieve regional objectives and enhance brand visibility. -Report on community and media exposure resulting from events and partnerships. -Manage strategic partnerships with local business chambers, community organizations, college and/or professional sports teams within CT and RI. -Effectively communicate with internal teams and media outlets regarding community engagement activities. -Execute integrated marketing campaigns, incorporating traditional and digital elements, to generate leads and drive sales. -Serve as an internal champion of community marketing, maintaining a visible presence and hosting at least 1 employee event per quarter. -Work closely with the Marketing Manager and local teams to understand market dynamics and tailor marketing initiatives to meet specific needs. -Lead social listening initiatives across the brand(s). -Monitor marketing performance metrics and share findings with the Marketing Manager.

What You Bring

-A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. -The position will be based in Farmington, CT. Regular travel to events throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island is required. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Graphic design and editing skills on social media (and emails as needed) are a plus. -Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing -High attention to detail and quality standards. -2-3+ years of PR or marketing experience with increasing responsibility and a proven track record of success. -Extensive marketing experience in transactional industry or skilled trades is a plus. -Strong cross-functional management skills with demonstrated ability to effectively utilize internal resources to meet project deadlines and objectives. -Understanding of marketing principles, including digital channels like paid search, SEO, and LSA -Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills. -Strong strategic capabilities as well as hands-on tactical ability.
