Tasks

-Collaborate with engineering to review issues found in returned products -Provide software unlock codes as needed -Maintain and update the service parts database -Issue RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) numbers to customers -Monitor and manage service parts inventory levels -Evaluate returned items to determine warranty eligibility or customer-caused damage -Develop and maintain troubleshooting procedures and repair manuals -Service and repair customer-returned products -Perform quality control checks and rework defective new products -Assist with prototype assembly and rework for research and development -Identify and report product design issues to the appropriate R&D staff -Train testing technicians on repair and rework techniques -Use the latest RCC application software (e.g., RC-Studio, RC-Toolkit) to verify product functionality -Develop and implement test jigs and diagnostic procedures for troubleshooting

What You Bring

-Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation -Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits, including soldering and rework (SMD and through-hole) -Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage inventory and service part tracking -5+ years of hands-on experience repairing and troubleshooting electronic products -Proofread technical documents and procedures -Diploma or certificate in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field -Are comfortable navigating detailed procedures while staying flexible in your approach -Familiarity with embedded systems, firmware, and software-assisted troubleshooting -Have strong technical instincts and enjoy getting to the root of hardware issues -Enjoy collaborating with engineering and production teams to improve processes and outcomes -Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers -Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams -Experience documenting repair procedures and reporting technical issues to engineering teams
