Perform thorough building surveys to assess moisture-related problems and their impact on building integrity
Prepare detailed, evidence-based reports with remedial recommendations, including photographs, sketches and annotated CAD plans
Maintain and enhance company quality standards by following established procedures and contributing to system development
Identify sources of dampness, water ingress, condensation issues and associated building defects
Conduct comprehensive damp and moisture investigations utilising specialised techniques and equipment
Provide expert advice to clients on damp prevention, treatment methods and building performance
Attend client meetings and liaise with design teams and consultants

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Academic qualifications in a relevant construction specialism.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with scientific process and the interpretation of statistical or laboratory analysis
Chartered membership of a relevant professional body
Ability to work at heights in confined spaces and perform physically demanding tasks
Technical expertise in building pathology with focus on diagnostics, water/moisture movement and remediation techniques
Other industry training qualifications relating to damp in buildings.
Self-motivated with ability to work independently as part of a team
Experience in UK construction and proven knowledge of building design, construction and procurement
Full UK driving licence (essential) for travel to client sites throughout the UK and potentially abroad
Strong understanding of building science and environmental science
Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW), CSTDB demonstrating specialised expertise in damp prevention, water management systems, and structural waterproofing techniques for both new construction and existing buildings
Strong organisational abilities with meticulous attention to detail
