Tasks

-Participate in safety training and programs, including daily safety meetings, risk assessments, and job hazard assessments -Assist with physically demanding fieldwork in various industrial settings -Complete equipment checks and learn pre-trip inspection procedures -Professionally represent GFL and provide exceptional service to clients -Maintain clear and accurate records to accompany work performed -Support the Vacuum Truck Services team with daily tasks and learn operation procedures

-Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset -Mechanically inclined and comfortable working around heavy equipment -Ability to follow instructions and learn from experienced operators -Physically fit and able to perform hands-on work in all weather conditions -Strong safety-first attitude -Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility over time -Willingness to obtain a Class 3A or 1A license through GFL’s training program upon successful probation -Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract -Excellent communication and customer service skills
