Tasks
-Ensure Team Coordinators are executing the Testing and Inspections aligned with production schedule and priorities as communicated by the Quality Supervisor, Quality Manager, or Plant Manager. -Process Adherence & Consistency – Following standardized work procedures to ensure repeatable and reliable quality processes across shifts. -Time Management – Prioritizing tasks, meeting production deadlines, and managing competing demands efficiently. -Handle multiple tasks simultaneously. -Problem-Solving & Root Cause Support – Identifying non-conformances, documenting root causes, and assisting Quality Control Leads in corrective action follow-ups. -Manage workforce in line with policies, procedures, standards, and best practices. -Training & Learning Mindset – Assisting with training and demonstrating a commitment to learning quality processes, inspections, and documentation. -Ensure adherence to organizational policies on attendance, performance, and conduct. -Continuous Improvement & Professional Development – Maintaining a growth mindset by actively seeking opportunities to improve processes, enhance skills, and stay updated on industry best practices. -Communicate consumable and material needs and shortages to QC/Test Supervisor, Production supervisor, and Material Manager before it affects production. -Conflict Resolution – Addressing conflicts and resolving interpersonal issues among team members, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment. -Identifying and resolving quality issues in a timely manner. Coordinate with Fabrication Floor Lead, Engineering, Project Management, Materials or any other department as applicable. -Enforce proper escalation procedures to effectively and efficiently resolve issues. -Ownership & Accountability – Taking responsibility for tasks, implementing corrective actions effectively, and addressing root causes comprehensively. -Attention to Detail – Consistently performing quality inspections, documenting findings, and ensuring adherence to established quality control procedures. -Optimize overall efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality. -Leadership – Providing guidance, direction, and support to teams, including stepping into leadership roles as needed. -Assist QC/Test Supervisor with gathering details associated with quality issues and determining root cause to prevent recurrence. -Train and mentor Team coordinators to ensure the quality staff is performing standard quality work and routinely inspect all areas for first-time quality work. -Problem-Solving – Identifying, analyzing, and resolving production challenges in a timely manner, often requiring coordination with multiple departments.

-Adaptability – Adjusting to changing priorities, production schedules, and unforeseen challenges while maintaining productivity and quality standards. -Safety & Compliance Awareness – Understanding workplace safety, CSA standards, and quality control protocols, ensuring compliance in daily activities. -Technical Degree (BS) or Business Degree (BA) preferred or at least 5 years’ experience in associated manufacturing field. -Activities: Sitting – 5% | Walking/Standing – 95% -Vision: Long periods of close work on small fonts and fine print on drawings, requiring the ability to see small or detailed items. -Lifting: Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. -Interpersonal Skills – Mentoring and training team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. -Bilingual English/Spanish, spoken and written is preferred. -Technical Proficiency – Strong foundational understanding of inspection processes, quality documentation, and compliance with CSA and ISO 9001 standards. -Operational & Problem-Solving Skills -Communication & Teamwork – Clear and professional communication with Quality Control Leads, Test Leads, and Production Teams to support daily quality activities. -Shop/warehouse. Not climate controlled. -High School Diploma or GED required. -At least 1 year of direct supervisory experience with production, engineering, warehouse and quality functions in a manufacturing/plant environment with emphasis on electrical assembly. -Ownership of corrective or preventative actions with respect to quality and correcting root causes with all teams. -Bending: Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, and climb.
