What You Bring
-Proficient with hand and power tools for equipment assembly -This role may include travel (up to 25%) within a local region as determined by the Field Service Engineer Assignment Manager -Prior electrical/power industry related experience -Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. -No relocation offered, candidates must reside within 50-mile radius of Parma, OH to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. -Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher -Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering or applied science from an accredited institution. -Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills. -Experience in basic testing and servicing electrical distribution and control systems is highly desirable. -Works well under time constraints and in stressful situations. -Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher (please do not round) -Strong computer skills -Must have a valid driver's license. -Geographical flexibility to relocate within the United States for the duration of the Internship Program -Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills -Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community. -Excellent computer & analytical skills. -Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with electrical and electronic equipment.
