Tasks

-Performing on-site re-training as required -Ensures that safety procedures are being followed by all employees -Report to the Vice President, HSE and or the HSE Director, works in conjunction with the Divisional and Project Managers -Stay up to date and current on all regulatory agency regulations -Stay up to date and current on Client HSE standards, policies, and procedures -Track information for use with supervisor’s performance reviews, and for employee re-training -Implement, track, and monitor MMR’s HSE Management System -Complete reports for MMR and client -Escort insurance account representative to job sites for his evaluation as well as ours -Conduct training throughout our company and support the corporate safety department’s training plan -Develop, revise, and implement safety training programs as needed and/or required -Assist in MMR & all required regulatory agency training for employees and supervisors -Conduct safety meetings -Assist in MMR’s Supervisor’s Safety Training -Meeting with clients on safety issues, pre-job meetings, and evaluations -Performing field audits -Assist in accident investigations along with the Safety Director and/or the superintendent -Implement, train, and maintain database on Behavior Based Safety -Performing follow-ups to ensure the training was understood by our employees -Maintain the training database -Provide safety support to all jobsitesPerforming field auditsPerforming on-site re-training as requiredPerforming follow-ups to ensure the training was understood by our employeesEnsures that safety procedures are being followed by all employeesConduct safety meetings -Attend safety training as directed

What You Bring

Education and/or ExperienceAssociate's degree (A. A.) in Occupational Safety & Health from an accredited university preferred but not required; or minimum five years related experience. OSHA 500 Train-The-Trainer certification or equivalent, OSHA 510 or equivalent.Certifications and/or LicensesEmployee must possess proper forms of identification such as valid Driver’s License or State identification, and a Social Security Card. State and/or local license/certifications may be required.Certification which may be a plus: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST), Construction Site Safety Technician (CSST), NFPA 70E knowledge -Commitment to the company goal of achieving a zero-injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures -Employee must be able to travel to and from the jobsite via personal vehicle or other public form of transportation
