Tasks
-Develop site specific environmental plans and activities -Monitor implementation of environmental mitigation measures and conduct work site environmental inspections -Assist in the development company-wide Environmental Management supportive programs -Interface with customer’s environmental personnel, environmental consultants, regulatory representatives, etc. -Implement Mortenson’s environmental program for simple to moderately complex project sites and promulgate environmental compliance of construction activities. Essential requirements: -Lead onsite best management practices for environmental management -Review environmental submittals and attend preconstruction and preparatory meetings -Develop and lead environmental orientation and training programs -Collaborate with customers on regulatory (Federal, State, Provincial and local) reporting and documentation requirements -Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations -Maintain operational knowledge of environmental issues in construction, and other applicable standards, regulations, laws, and procedures

What You Bring
-Current driver’s license -Our postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days. -Significant experience with two or more of the following areas: erosion prevention and sediment control, storm water pollution prevention plans, spill prevention controls and countermeasures (SPCC), aquatic resources, endangered species -Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, or related field -Ability to use PC, tablets and widely used software packages, e.g., spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (MS Word) -Strong understanding of Federal, State, Provincial and local laws, policies and procedures -Minimum of four years related experience -Able to travel up to 50% -Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.). We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. -Ability to interact with consultants and governmental agencies -Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
