The Role

Overview

Oversee field coordination, permits, submittals, QA/QC and documentation for construction projects.

Tasks

-Implement the pre-construction quality plan and manage testing and inspection processes -Interpret project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft persons -Manage, create, and distribute contract documents; establish handling procedures for electronic documents (RFIs, correspondence) -Incorporate processes and procedures for project closeout phase; define and implement procedures for posting revisions and updates to as-built construction documents -Manage submittals: set up register, obtain customer/architect approval, prepare transmittal forms, coordinate packaging, review, and processing -Expedite submittals to align with project schedule; communicate submittal process details to subcontractors and suppliers -Obtain and maintain construction permits; manage fee payments and recurring expenses -Develop and maintain Material Tracking List, Project Test and Inspection Listing, Concrete Placement Log, and Non-Conformance Report -Mentor, manage, and evaluate field engineers; determine alternative work methods as needed -Coordinate safety and compliance for all team members; maintain schedule of timelines and ensure completion

What You Bring

-Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, and problem-solving skills -Minimum of three years related construction experience -Our postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days. -Proven positive and professional attitude and customer service skills -Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. -Current driver’s license -Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices -Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management -Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.). We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. -Detail orientation sufficient to organize and effectively manage multiple tasks
