Tasks
-Be a dedicated member of a North America Branch team willing to learn and be responsible for startup, commissioning, and aftermarket services for this fast-growing business. -Prioritize safety in all forms -Maintain ammonia and hydrocarbon safety training certification. -Mechanical shaft alignment using dial indicators, lasers, etc. of pumps, fans, Compressors. -You will work with other local market mechanics and when necessary, provide on the job training and or will participate and be a leader in local relevant classroom training for other Technicians.

What You Bring
-Travel maybe required 10% to 20% to support Branch Customers startup and commissioning activities as well as aftermarket service trouble shooting. -Able to provide quotes to customers and participate in JCI’s Service Plus Rewards program. -Able to use vibration equipment to trouble shoot compressor drivelines. -Able to trouble shoot industrial Allen Bradley control systems and adjust. -Proficient in the operations, trouble shooting and repair of large tonnage chiller 460 vac VSD’s and medium voltage 4160 vac VSD’s. -Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO. -Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's license -Extensive experience in HVAC systems, (Chilled water loops, Pumping, Compressor enthalpy, Compressor trouble shooting and rebuild. -Minimum of Twelve (12) years of practical working experience on air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, industrial chillers, AHU’s or large roof top ducted units with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience. Can lead large complex repairs, jobs or retrofits. -Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, absorption chillers, screw chillers and/or ammonia / hydrocarbon system components. -Attention to detail through interpersonal, digital, and written skills. Able to write and communicate to the customer problem, cause, and corrective actions. -You will be required to pass a knowledge examination to assess proficiencies. -Proficient in multiple OEM chiller panels and controllers.
