Manage multiple engineering projects from inception through to delivery in support of fire safety standards and codes while also supporting junior team members.
Work in a range of sectors from residential buildings through to rail transportation or new energy facilities.
Support junior team members and act as technical reviewer on project submissions.
Review and comment on the quality of fire safety related installations.
Undertake tenders for new work and develop client relationships to develop potential work opportunities.
Prepare reports, take part in design team meetings, and liaise with client representatives as required.
Keep up to date with regulations and legislation.
Work on a wide range of projects and sectors including some of the most prestigious projects in the UK.
Support the delivery of project work and keeping track of evolving project milestones and budgets.
Assess fire related risks in projects and working collaboratively to mitigate where possible.
Support the development of fire strategies.

Ability to collate information and have a clear and structured approach to report writing.
Ability to obtain security clearance, ideally without caveats would be highly beneficial.
Good commercial awareness and customer focused.
Engineering degree, preferably fire engineering or alternatively a post graduate qualification in fire engineering (Applicants with different backgrounds also considered).
Working towards chartered fire engineer status.
10+ years in fire engineering roles including roles outside of consultancy.
Strong experience working with multiple of fire standards including but not limited to BS9999, NFPA 130, BS9992, EN45545.
Fire modelling experience will be beneficial.
Demonstrate a strong record of successfully delivering fire strategies.
