Tasks

-Implement new features on existing products, fix bugs, and improve performance. -Meet project deadlines as indicated in a project plan and assigned tasks. -Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources. -Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of 3rd parties. -Design and develop Power BI dashboards. -Design and develop applications within Microsoft PowerApps -Develop efficient technical solutions starting with broadly defined problems. -Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Mitsubishi Power personnel and affiliated business units to design and develop innovative digital products and services. -Contribute to interface design mock-ups. -Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

What You Bring

-Computer Skills: Knowledge of database, project management, spreadsheet and work processing software, electronic mail, graphics, technical diagrams, flow charts, Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, process flowcharts, UI mockups. -Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and overall computer navigational skills. -Ability to estimate work for defined features and user stories. -Experience within Microsoft’s Power Platform is preferred but not required. -MUST be currently Enrolled in bachelor’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or similar from an accredited college or university or technical institution. Open to Junior, Senior and Masters Students. -Communicate effectively with all levels of employees. -Reasoning Ability: Ability to troubleshoot to define and identify problems. Collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to take prompt corrective actions. -Language Skills: Ability to read, speak, and write English fluently -Work Schedule: During School need to be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (can work a max of 28 hours a week if able to do so) during business hours (7:30am to 5:30pm) and During Breaks can be up to 40 hours a week as needed. (We will work around your school schedule). -Length of Internship: 6 Months Minimum and could extend longer OR turn into a full-time position with approved headcount. -Understanding of good UI design concepts. -Education and/or Experience: Student in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or similar from an accredited college or university or technical institution. Open to Junior, Senior and Masters Students. -Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design is required.
