The Role

Overview

Advise and deliver sustainability strategies and assessments for built‑environment projects.

Tasks

-Support the development of energy and sustainability strategies with our clients to lead sustainability innovation on new and existing developments. -Undertake a range of modelling and assessments, which may include but not limited to: embodied carbon calculations and circular economy consultancy, building performance simulation including operational energy estimates, and overheating. -Work within the Technical Excellence programme on research and development initiatives to allow us to stay at the cutting edge of knowledge in our industry. As well as project-related work, you would have the opportunity to engage directly with the industry, undertaking research and development studies, and authoring industry guidance. -Lead the delivery of environmental and wellbeing assessments (such as BREEAM, WELL, HQM, etc) from early design stages through to project completion/post construction. -Support the training of junior members of the team e.g. in workstream delivery, consultancy and project planning. -Develop holistic sustainability strategies

What You Bring

-You will have good communication skills and an enthusiasm for working within a team environment. -Already working within a sustainability or engineering consultancy, you will be looking for a new challenge within a practice at the very forefront of our field. -You will bring expertise (with a degree in engineering/science, and experience in the field) and a passion for creating sustainable solutions. -Experience working within the built environment sector.
