Overview
Inside Sales Specialist drives sales of building products via outbound calls and customer support.

Tasks
-Selling or Influencing Others - Convincing others to buy goods or to otherwise change their minds or actions. -Prepare & submit weekly sales reports. -Interact daily with sales team strategizing on how to grow market share in their combined territories. -Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates - Providing information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. -Acts as a key point of contact for various customer facing activities to include sales quoting, managing orders, and order confirmations. -Communicating with Persons Outside Organization - Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail. -Getting Information - Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. -Utilizes product knowledge and industry/geography/market awareness to successfully represent the Company’s products and services. -Actively develops and drives strategic growth strategies to better manage relationships with customer accounts. -Proactively and consistently engages with new, existing, and potential customers to establish and builds relationships. -Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships - Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time. -Educate and advise customers of through deep market knowledge, current market trends, changes, and challenges – become a trusted advisor. -Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively.

-Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time -Acquires knowledge of the market conditions and competitive landscape. Use this knowledge and customer relationships in dealing with competitive situations and negotiations. Sell at the highest possible price. -Desktop Computer/Laptop Computer -Up to 10% Travel -Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). -Social Perceptiveness - Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do. -Extent Flexibility - The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs. -1 to 3 years of sales experience with demonstrated success including making outbound calls/cold calling -Ability to sell our Core 4 Product Categories – Insulation, Roofing, Gypsum (Drywall), and Siding. -Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. -High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required -While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finder, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. -Office Suite Technology -Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record -Electronic Email Software -Static Strength - The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects. -Phone Skills/VoIP -Must be at least 18 years of age -E-Commerce Tools -Ability to pass drug test and background verifications -Arm-Hand Steadiness - The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position. -Ability to hunt for new business and make outbound sales including cold calls. -Experience in the building products industry helpful -Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. -Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
