What You Bring

-Ability to mentor junior engineers and designers -Ability to self-perform all SCADA and control engineering tasks associated with the project: proposal, design, engineering calculations, cost estimating, client reviews, and construction support -Solid foundation in implementing CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation -Ability to work with other engineers, designers, and drafters and to take direction from senior engineers -Specific expertise in switchgear interface and control (medium and low voltage) in a facility critical system including integration, programming, and start-up -Knowledge and direct application of UFC, UFGS, NEC, and ICC standards is required -Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University -Professional Engineering License with the ability to be licensed in multiple states -Ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance -Knowledge and experience with federal government projects -A working knowledge and understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS). -Experience with mission-critical infrastructure projects. -Experience designing to US Government design standards -SpecsIntact specification authoring and editing experience -Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings that include P&IDs, installation details, wiring diagrams, and schematics. -Ability to work with other discipline leads, PMs, and others across multi-discipline teams -Ability to design and configure network infrastructure and communication paths for Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs), Human Machine Interface (HMIs), PLC and other SCADA system equipment -Experience with a variety of SCADA systems including WonderWare (InTouch and System Platform), Ignition, and Factory Talk. -Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, be willing to travel domestically and internationally, and must work successfully in a customer-focused, project-oriented environment -Working knowledge and integration experience of control systems field devices such as transmitters, control valves, actuators, and pressure, level, and temperature switches. -Five plus (5+) years of applicable experience in the design and specification of SCADA and Industrial Controls systems for federal buildings and industrial buildings -Communication network design including fiber-optic and copper cabling as applied to ethernet and serial/field bus networks in a highly available control system. -Effective in prioritizing and setting deadlines, while also adapting to change -Experience with a variety of PLCs and their programming software including PACs Machine Edition, RSLogics, and Siemens. -Must be a US Citizen
