The Role

Overview

Operate forklift, load/unload trucks, manage inventory in warehouse.

Tasks

-Assist with inventory counts as required -Guide truck drivers where they need to go in order to safely loaded/unloaded -Communicate with drivers to ensure the accuracy of the load as well as safety requirements for loading/unloading materials -Pick and sort stock using a forklift ensuring minimal errors -Safely operate a sit down counter balance forklift while maintaining a valid forklift certification -Identify where product is located in the yard and in the warehouse by utilizing the Lot Location system.

What You Bring

-Must be comfortable working outside in the elements -High school diploma or GED -Must be able to pass a fit for duty Physical -Must be able to work overtime as necessary, including weekends -Must be able to read a pick list -Able to work independently as well as part of a team -Must have valid forklift certification class 1 license -Previous experience with materials handling & distribution warehouses preferred -2 years forklift experience -Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills -Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
