Tasks
-Developing and creating new products in the electromechanical products space -May supports Sales in making sales calls and customer contacts -Assists Sales to prepare technical proposals and pricing on engineered orders for power systems -Plans, manages, and coordinates the engineering design work requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria for electrical loads -Manage design packages to the Drafting department -Interprets customer supplied specifications, drawings and one-line diagrams for solution development, and cost estimates -Work as part of a project team to deliver cost effective, manufacturable designs -Supports the maintenance of documentation via engineering change procedures -Designs and develops the best cost/performance product -Coordinate engineering response and action plans -Works with Assembly, Procurement and field technicians during build, test or start up to resolve issues -Generates test procedures and manuals required with the product

What You Bring
-Knowledge working with ERP systems -Experience designing in the electrical testing space -Experience designing to UL, CSA, NEC, and other safety agency requirements -3+ years of experience in the following: -Experience with OEM electrical design activities, preferably in power design, generation, distribution or protection -Experience working with industrial equipment -Experience in some of the following- power conversion, electrical systems, switch gear, utility, electrical construction, substation, generators -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
