The Role

Overview

Operate, monitor, and maintain plastic extrusion lines while ensuring quality and safety.

Tasks

-Starts, operates, maintains and shuts down extrusion and down-line equipment as well as performing die changes and color changes. -Contributes to accident-free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations. -Accurately completes and records quality checks, color checks, and color set-point controls within the specified guidelines. -Maintains knowledge and strict adherence to the Bills of Process (BOP) and Critical to Quality (CTQ) standards Identifies defects and documents work orders for repair in accordance with the CIL's (Clean, Lube, Inspect); diagnosing process and equipment defects, making minor repairs, documents work orders when necessary and assisting Maintenance personnel as needed.
