Tasks

-Will partner with Retail Learning and Development team to create and maintain a library of authorized business processes for Clayton that is easily searchable and accessible throughout the organization. -May deliver training to impacted business units. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align construction milestones with business workflows for continuous improvement. -Researches, analyzes, and recommends changes to an organization's business processes to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability, with a focus on construction operations. -Supports cross-functional activities and working sessions during projects' design and implementation phases. -Partner with construction and technology teams, including HSC and CDG, to design and implement process improvements in scheduling, project management, site assessment, contractor quality, and system enhancements. -Creates flowcharts, process maps, and diagrams. -Develops process documentation and project plans. -Designs and prepares documentation, training materials, and communications supporting new processes. -Collects and studies operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

What You Bring

-Strong analytical, problem solving and root cause analysis skills. -Detail-oriented problem-solver with strong critical thinking and time management skills. -Strong ability to work effectively within time constraints, changing priorities, and working independently. -Understanding of how to leverage data to understand business problems and develop methods for continuous improvement. -Ability to develop documentation in a variety of forms (flowcharts, narrative manuals, role specific) and organized to ensure process documents are kept up-to-date, properly socialized, and accessible across the organization. -Ability to communicate lessons learned and key findings to departments with recommendations for changes and updates for training. -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio. -Experience in project management, group facilitation, data gathering and analysis, and change management. -Ability to elicit requirements, facilitate workshops, and lead brainstorming sessions to create new or re-think current business process changes. -3-6+ years in business analysis and operations excellence. -Strong understanding of a customer’s journey and the Retail company processes and interactions with other business units. -Skilled at identifying new process opportunities, developing a value proposition for new processes, and presenting options to executive management teams. -Ability to coordinate and partner across business units to develop, test, and refine business processes / practices. -Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams. -Ability to influence positive change effectively. -3-6+ years in construction operations (manufactured/modular construction preferred). -Strong understanding of organizational change management principles and how to guide an organization through process changes. -Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members, including executives, managers, IT professionals, and subject matter experts. -Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical and business experience. -Ability to analyze, design, present and implement changes to business processes in order to increase productivity, reduce cost, improve quality, and save time.
