Tasks

-Monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with industry standards -Provides oversight of financial statements and operational processes, evaluating and standardizing operational processes and ensuring the utilities sector's profitability to meet or exceed annual budget -Monitors team performance to ensure group’s compliance to quality, contract scopes, schedules, budgets and procedures -Lead pursuit strategy for key client accounts and new potential clients -Executive contact for external client industry and partner relationships -Have a passion for growing and mentoring team members, creating an environment that fosters strong team growth and collaboration with exceptional problem-solving skills for our client’s needs -Identifies unique growth and innovation opportunities within the sector -Champion Diversity & Inclusion -Manages a business unit consisting of engineers, technicians and administrative personnel -Participates in the RFP/RFQ process including leading scope development, preparation of project approach, technical execution plans, schedules and interviews -Develop and lead the overall strategic plan for the business unit long term growth -Provides accurate forecasting of department financial and staffing goals -Develops team members by mentoring, cultivating relationships and leading with integrity -Collaborate with other Ardmore Roderick leaders to support the company’s goals and initiatives including utilization -Develops and fosters nationwide growth by identifying opportunities with existing and new clients coupled with sustainable workflow

What You Bring

-Minimum of ten (10) years of proven experience in a similar leadership role -Advanced degree(s) -Have a diverse background that has spent time in different roles with both consulting and utility provider organization experience -Knowledge of electrical or gas transmission and / or distribution design and construction -Possess expertise in leading the identification and capture of new clients at a national level -Bachelor’s degree in engineering and / or business -Advanced knowledge of the electric or gas utility industry -Direct experience managing the P&L for a division
