Tasks
-Visit project sites on a periodic basis. -Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services. -Formulate strategic business decisions and be able to execute and deliver on those decisions. -Work with principals in developing areas of expertise within ERRG. -Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed. -Forecast project work on existing contracts. -Review technical aspects of project to assist staff and assess productivity of lines of research. -Report to principal on project status. -Identify potential opportunities within existing contracts. -Analyze reports to evaluate program effectiveness and prepare impact analysis to assess total lifecycle costs associated with implementing new pollution control techniques or other innovative solutions. -Prepare environmental project feasibility and progress reports. -Review and approve contracts and cost estimates. -Schedule and assign duties to staff scientists and engineers based on evaluation of their knowledge of specific disciplines. -Expand client relationships beyond existing contract. -Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee development and maintenance of staff competence. -Review project operations to ensure coordination of efforts and timely submission of reports. -Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

What You Bring
-Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills with the ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff in a team environment. -Minimum of 15 years of industry-related experience. -May be required to travel up to 25% to 50% of the time to project sites or client locations. -Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university. -Professional industry related work experience in Northern California -Must have 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher. -Knowledge of MS Word Office Suite Products. -Proven experience managing PNL and revenue growth for a program or regional office -Ability to provide technical direction on projects and conduct technical reviews of written documents. -Master’s Degree -Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist license -Solid understanding of project cost and schedule controls. -Ability to effectively interact with principals, clients, regulatory agencies, field operations, technical staff and subcontractors. -Capable of expanding client relationships beyond existing contracts. -Client Relationship Management with demonstrated success leading and expanding business operations including business development. -Capable of preparing large-scale programmatic proposals. -Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with previous involvement in preparing project proposals and the experience providing compelling, multi-level presentations to internal and external audiences.
