Tasks

Responsible for verifying that Suppliers are shipping all materials within an order. Knowledge of documentation including and not limited to Purchase Orders, Specifications, Drawings, etc. Ability to communicate professionally with suppliers and MP Team Members also, to prevent Liquidated Damages (LD’s) and or back charges created at the job site in which MITSUBISHI POWER will be charged when vendor equipment arrives at the project site and then inventoried. Prevent Overage, Shortage & Damage (OS&D’s) reports issued against MITSUBISHI POWER to a minimum by the customer and their Engineering and Procurement and Construction (EPC) group. -Provide summarized monthly reports of Activities to Materials Manager. -Expedient the SBOM review and approval as required to not interfere with the activities used by Quality, Expeditors, and Document Control for entry to Project Material List (PML). -Comply with all EHS policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources. -Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. -Maintain professional decorum at all times with MITSUBISHI team members and vendors. -Communicate to all appropriate people when communicating. -Communicate with others through Microsoft Teams. -Communication with Quality Control and Expeditors prior to release of shipping documentation as needed. -Participate in bi-weekly department meetings through Microsoft Teams. -Be a liaison to Engineering, Supplier, Global Sourcing, Logistics, and Construction Technical Field Advisors (TFA’s) at the project sites as needed to resolve shipping and or engineering issues found during SBOM process. -Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using it for benefit of 3rd parties. -Provide weekly reports on Activities to Materials Manager.

What You Bring

-Must be able to read and interpret drawings of equipment. -Must be able to speak, read and write in English. Spanish and/or Japanese a plus. -Must have strong organizational and time management skills. -Communicate effectively with all levels of employees. -Must have exceptional communication skills – Verbally and Written (This position requires extensive reporting and communications). -Ability to communicate with Supplier’s on any discrepancies found in SBOM process. -Must be able to follow through on given tasks to completion. -Ability to interpret Mechanical, Piping, and Electrical Drawings for comparison to SBOM components to ensure all materials are shipping correctly. -Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and Technical Briefs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, global sourcing, and logistics teams. -Associate’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Engineering Technology, or a related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred. At least (2) years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required for this position.Must be able to read Mechanical drawings and understand how equipment gets assembled on sites. -Prior knowledge of Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Heat Recovering Steam Generator (HRSG), Generator’s, Air Inlet Filter Houses, and Supporting Equipment’s preferred. -Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram forms and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. -Must be dedicated, self-motivated, focused, and work well with others as well as on your own. -Ability to review Shipping Bill of Material (SBOM) to ensure all loose ship materials are included in shipments. -Ability to use Purchase Order documentations and Specifications to verify SBOM’s -Must be proficient in Computer Skills such as Microsoft Office applications Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint Documenting Systems, Teams Meeting, Adobe Acrobat PDF, Utilize Graphics, Technical diagrams, and Flow charts for review and resolutions where needed. -Must understand electrical and mechanical equipment shipping material processes.
