Tasks
-Stays up to date with industry trends and best practices. -Develop and manage project budgets and schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. -Lead and manage architectural projects ensuring successful and timely delivery. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SMEs, designers, engineers, and contractors, to achieve project goals. -Implement effective cost control measures and risk management strategies. -Supports, guides, and directs the architectural team through all phases of design: initial programming, planning, feasibility & concept development, preliminary design, detailed design, construction documentation, and construction administration. -Conduct regular quality checks on project deliverables to ensure high standards of design and construction are maintained. -Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients. -Mentor and guide junior staff members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. -Understand and address client needs and expectations, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project. -Review and approve architectural plans and specifications, ensuring they meet project requirements.

Lamar Johnson Collaborative is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Architect to join our team. As a Project Architect, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the design and execution of a variety of projects from conception to completion. -Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. -Minimum of 7 years of architectural experience. -Proficient in relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management software. -Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering residential projects of varying scales. -Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and team members. -Registered Architect with a current license. -Excellent communication and presentation skills. -Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
