Manage CAD standards, staff, and survey data processing for engineering projects.

Tasks
-Processing of daily field survey data using Civil 3D/Carlson and/or MicroStation to develop finished survey drawings -Manage general QA/QC of CAD work performed by CAD Staff -Development of 3D digital terrain models, based on field data, to be used for engineering design, utilizing InRoads/OpenRoads and similar software. -Manage CAD software licenses and updates as well as CAD training -Coordinates with office staff and clients as required. -Ensure that CAD Technicians are trained and follow established CAD standards -Become familiar with CAD standards of various government agencies (i.e. GDOT) to make sure finished survey drawings are in compliance with standards.

What You Bring
-8+ years of experience in AutoCAD -5+ years of experience in land surveying -Experience with GDOT deliverables -Knowledge of business office procedures -Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable -Associate Degree in Technical Drafting (Preferred) or Comparable 4 Year Degree -Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) -Occasional assistance in the field to confirm finished drawings are representative of field conditions and to further skills toward becoming a registered land surveyor. -5+ years of managing Junior CAD Technician
