The Role
Overview
Assist in constructing, installing, maintaining, and testing industrial electrical systems.

Tasks
-Construct, alter, repair, and test all electrical components that are integral to the operations of industrial activities and electrical systems. -Install new and maintain low, medium, and high voltage equipment. -Will be responsible to become familiar with, abide by, and to administer the Shermco Health, Personnel and Safety policies. -Perform all duties to a level of competency, normally expected of an Apprentice Electrician. -Contribute to the execution of completing work safety. -Will adhere to Shermco’s Alcohol and Drug Policy as defined; and -Work around energized power and control equipment.

What You Bring
-Work safely in a fast-paced environment. -Industrial facility safe work qualifications/training considered asset. -Available for out-of-town work based on varying project requirements. -All PPE and FR/AF rated workwear provided, including winter gear and rain gear provided -Must have a valid driver's license and able to maintain a clean abstract. -Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. -Experience in industrial or commercial setting considered an asset.
