Tasks

-Coaching and developing managers and their teams, ensuring clear goals, regular reviews and strong succession planning -Driving growth by retaining and enhancing current business and identifying new opportunities -Championing Zero Harm and embedding safe behaviours across all teams -Managing regional resources, including people, plant and technology, to maximise efficiency and returns -Contributing to wider strategic planning as part of the Taranaki Leadership Team -Providing accurate monthly reporting, commentary and recommended actions -Leading construction operations across the region to achieve business plans, budgets and strategic goals -Ensuring best-practice contract, project and quality management systems are in place -Building and maintaining strong, proactive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders

What You Bring

-Proven success in managing operational performance, plant and resources -A collaborative leadership style with high emotional intelligence -Strong commercial and business development capability -Ability to work under pressure, influence others and deliver results -5+ years’ experience in leadership roles within construction or infrastructure -A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or business (preferred) or equivalent experience -Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
