Tasks

-Identify and develop strategies to address barriers to the adoption and expanded use of Cascade SaaS solutions -Employ sales best practices and professionalism, including timely meeting follow ups, documented call reports into the CRM, team collaboration, and ongoing pipeline management. -Participate in planning and discussion to determine Strategy and Products and Operations staffing needs to deliver sold work -For the electric and gas utility client segment, support Cascade sales staff assigned to these clients as the subject matter expert for SaaS solutions -Collaborate with Cascade’s Operations team and SaaS Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to measure and track client engagement and value creation with our SaaS products, support resolution of client issues and secure license renewals -Arrange regular client meetings with predominantly one-to-three-levels-up contacts to maintain client connection, market knowledge, and to stay current on client needs and desires -Prospect, propose and sell Cascade energy, sustainability and decarbonization SaaS solutions to enterprise, program level, and individual site level clients -Represent Cascade as a subject matter expert at large industry conferences and association events and participate as a speaker when opportunities arise -Leverage existing relationships and build new relationships with key clients -Lead and be accountable for the planning and delivery of proposals, presentations, and negotiations in the acquisition of new work, both where Cascade is positioned as the prime contractor as well as a subcontractor -Collaborate with Cascade’s Strategy and Products team to identify customer insights, needs and pain points and shape our SaaS product development roadmap -Serve as the proposal lead and subject matter expert for RFP submissions focused on SaaS solutions -Collaborate with Cascade’s Market Development team to define our marketing strategy and budget for our SaaS products

What You Bring

-A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience -8+ years of related experience which includes 3+ years of B2B business development experience selling SaaS products -Experience with Gazebo | Your Decarbonization Implementation Cloud or related tech products, highly preferred -Cascade Energy is not able to provide sponsorship for work authorization in the U.S., which includes OPT. -Demonstrated ability in needs identification, problem solving, negotiating, and closing the sale
