Overview

Perform on‑site construction material testing, sampling, inspection, and reporting.

Tasks

-Ensure that company-owned equipment is maintained in good working order -Attend and actively participate in safety meetings and training programs to -Work in high grounds and high open buildings -Follow all written procedures for work being performed -Utilize a 40 lb. nuclear gauge to run tests on construction materials -Observe and record construction crew performance data for related activities -Establish personal goals for improving job performance -Perform visual inspection of rebar -Submit daily reports and other documentation to the Team Leader as -Proactively review all project documents and testing procedures, and exhibit -Ensures on time and regular attendance -Report to the Team Leader corrective actions (when necessary) to best -Perform all tasks assigned in a professional and ethical manner and -Obtain concrete samples from the ready mix trucks -Drive a company vehicle in a safe manner -Run tests on concrete samples and deliver the samples to the laboratory -Prepare reports and perform field activities in a timely manner -Walk, stoop, bend, and climb up and down stairs and ladders -Obtain and deliver soil samples from the jobsite to the laboratory -Establish and maintain a daily diary of all field activities for each project -Ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are implemented on all -Interact with clients and contractors in a professional and ethical manner -Make concrete test cylinders

What You Bring

-Six (6) months of experience in construction material testing -Ability to read and write in English -Nuclear Gauge Certification -Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. -Must be willing to work flexible schedules and overtime as needed by the -Valid driver's license -Communicate effectively with others written and verbally -Stand, walk and balance in irregular and uneven terrain and pavements, -ACI Level I Certification (must be able to obtain) -Pull or push 400 lbs. in a wheelbarrow -Ability to wear appropriate PPE for hazardous materials -Preferred candidates will demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to travel to various job sites and locations as required -High school diploma or equivalent
