The Role
Overview
Lead wastewater/treatment projects and manage engineering teams in SC and NC
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Pursue new work opportunities through established client relationships and market sector awareness -Expected to be flexible in terms of handling multiple assignments, work directly with clients to understand needs and to advance project planning and design assignments, as well as participating in company sponsored training programs, seminars, and conferences as may be necessary -Participate in professional organizations and technical committees -With field evaluation and assessment of existing facilities, including treatment facilities, collection and transmission systems and pumping stations -Supervise, train, and mentor project managers, project engineers and junior engineering staff -Supervise and lead project teams: -Will be responsible for developing and managing municipal, commercial, and industrial Water & Wastewater Treatment, planning and design projects across SC and NC -In the development of engineering reports, studies and designs, utilizing recognized DES and industry standards and regulatory-compliany approaches -Collaborate with other design and study teams to improve our ability to respond to client needs

What You Bring
-Adept at interpersonal relationship skills, conflict resolution, team leadership, and presentations -Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental engineering, with preference for Masters’ degree. An emphasis on Water & Wastewater treatment preferred -Working proficiency in Microsoft Office -Exemplary communication skills, including verbal, written, and public presentation domains -8 or more years of related engineering experience, and registration as a Professional Engineer in South Carolina, or with the ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire -Particularly important are strong working relationships with local clients -Demonstrated leadership experience and successful teamwork -Travel is required, must have valid driver’s license
