Patient Transporter

Overview

Assist and guide visitors, transport wheelchairs, and ensure facility safety.

Tasks

-Greet and engage with passengers in and around the facility area to offer informational assistance -Assist (aka Wheelchair Agent) with transporting of guest in wheelchairs -Escort unaccompanied minors -Follow safety precautions at all times -Act as a Welcome Ambassador for arriving visitors -Transfer and distribute wheelchairs as needed -Alert maintenance employees about malfunctioning restrooms, elevators, or other equipment. -Coordinate lines at check-in to ensure a smooth, orderly and efficient flow -Communicate effectively with guest regarding services available -Assist with baggage as required -Report hazards and incidents encountered in daily operation

Requirements

• age 18

-One (1) year of customer service or similar work experience preferred -No high school diploma, GED or college degree required -Must be 18 years of age or older
