Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview

Process invoices, checks, and vendor data for multiple sites in AP department.

Tasks

-Consistently reports for work at scheduled work time. -Assist with vendor master file maintenance. -Observe confidentiality of company information; written and verbal. -Reconcile monthly vendor statements. -Ensure 1099 vendor information is received and input into accounts payable system. Assist in 1099 processing for all companies. -Provide administrative backup where needed. -Performs duties according to CRH Internal SOX and Fraud Controls. -Responsible for compiling and keying accurate monthly accruals for assigned vendors. -Prepare and process weekly check run for assigned locations. -Adjust invoices for tax exemptions as needed. -Observe company safety standards and maintains safe work environment.

What You Bring

-Heavy data entry to process invoices for assigned locations. -Sales and Use tax experience a plus but not required. -Accounts Payable experience highly preferred. -High attention to detail required. -Prior accounting education and/or related work experience highly preferred. -Maintain excellent internal and external customer relations. -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. -Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills. -Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word for Windows.
