Tasks

-Guide the technical team on implementing product features, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and technical best practices. -Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product requirements documents. -Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and release plans to stakeholders. -Lead and facilitate agile development sprints, working closely with the development team. -Facilitate training and provide ongoing support to users of the BlackLine platform. -Advocate for the needs of the finance team and ensure that BlackLine is effectively utilized to support their workflows. -Manage the product backlog and prioritize features based on business value and impact. -Collaborate with finance teams to understand their needs and translate them into actionable product requirements for BlackLine . -Ensure that BlackLine configurations support accurate and efficient intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes. -Stay current with Blackline updates, enhancements, and best practices, proactively recommending implementing improvements to system configuration and functionality. -Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals. -Manage the release process, including communication, training, and documentation. -Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function. -Lead the implementation and optimization of BlackLine features and functionalities to meet evolving business needs, including process automation, workflow improvements, and system integrations. -Troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate with BlackLine support and internal IT teams for resolution. -Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including finance, Tax, legal and business users. -Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view. -Serve as the primary product expert and technical lead for the BlackLine platform. -Participate and own the implementation of the Blackline intercompany module globally, within our organization. -Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that product features meet the defined requirements. -Monitor product performance and gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement. -Act as the primary point of contact for all BlackLine -related matters.

What You Bring

-Possess a strong understanding of intercompany accounting principles, including transfer pricing, eliminations, consolidation, and related financial processes. -Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence. -The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions. -Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred -Expert-level proficiency in BlackLine (required). This includes experience with all BlackLine modules and functionalities, and a proven track record of implementing and optimizing BlackLine solutions. -Experience with data analytics and reporting tools. -In-depth knowledge of intercompany accounting principles, including transfer pricing, eliminations, and consolidation. -Strong understanding of agile development methodologies. -Deep understanding of balance sheet reconciliation processes and best practices. -Blackline/Intercompany certification preferred -Possess and maintain in-depth knowledge of all BlackLine modules and functionalities, including but not limited to intercompany, reconciliation management, task management, transaction matching, variance analysis, automation, and reporting. -Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. -High level of accuracy and attention to details in all aspects of work -Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. -Good understanding of balance sheet reconciliation processes and best practices. -Ability to adapt to changing business environments and business needs -Ability to lead and manage project teams -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). -Minimum of 12+ years of experience in implementing/supporting financial systems, with at least 5 years of experience of implementing and supporting BlackLine application. Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role. -Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in IT, Finance, or a related field of study with 10-12 years of experience in financial systems or a related field. In lieu of a degree, a combination of relevant experience and education will be considered. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders -Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and business stakeholders
