Design and plan site civil engineering projects, supervise staff, and manage documentation.

Tasks

-Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed -Prepare specifications and contract documents -Design and plan production for general civil on a wide variety of projects, including site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, site utilities, and associated civil engineering activities -Perform quantity calculations -Supervise a small staff of professionals and technicians as needed -Perform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures -Function as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects as needed, but project management is not the sole focus of this position

-Demonstrated leadership and communication skills -Proficientand demonstrated applied experience with CAD civil engineering software such asBentley Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Civil 3D; specialty civil platforms(e.g., Openflows) as required -Good verbal and written communication skills -Proficient with Microsoft Office -A minimum of 3 years experience in general civil engineering -Professional Engineer (PE) license. -Previous experience in general civil engineering -Bachelor's degree
