Tasks

The MEP Draftsman – Landscape is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings related to landscape projects. This includes irrigation layouts, lighting, drainage, and utility coordination to ensure proper installation as per project specifications and standards. -Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and other disciplines for smooth workflow. -Develop coordinated drawings integrating civil, structural, and architectural information. -Update and revise drawings based on consultants’ and clients’ comments. -Follow company CAD standards and naming conventions. -Participate in site visits, when necessary, to collect data or verify existing conditions. -Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and approvals. -Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local authority requirements, and international standards. -Provide drawing clarifications to the site team when required. -Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings for landscape projects (irrigation systems, lighting layouts, water features, and drainage systems). -Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings to minimize errors during execution.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D preferred). -Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. -Strong attention to detail and accuracy. -Good communication and coordination skills. -Knowledge of irrigation design, water supply systems, lighting layouts, and drainage networks. -Education: Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services or equivalent. -Experience: 3–5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman, preferably in landscape/irrigation projects.
