Tasks
-Complete the Hydro Operator “A” progression program -Provide oversight to Hydro Operator “B” in matters of Hydro Facility operations -Safely and effectively performs any and all work associated with the operation, maintenance and construction of Hydro Turbines, Turbine Auxiliaries, Generators, Sub-station equipment and related systems.

What You Bring
-Must have thorough knowledge of Station Lock Out Tag Out rules and procedures as well as Transmission and Distribution Switching and Tagging rules and requirements. -Must be able to understand and diagnose complex problems related to Hydro Generation stations and related systems and perform the work to correct these problems. -Must be familiar with Company's Safety Rules, Pressure Method of Resuscitation on or off the ground, and able to render practical First Aid. -Must have had at least three years of experience in Plant, Switchboard or Sub-station operation or equivalent in operating experience and/or have completed a formal training program in Hydro Generation and related systems and/or the ability to demonstrate these skills on an appropriate test. -Must be qualified in Lock Out Tag Out Program. -Must be capable of making constructive recommendations as to new procedures and standards. -Strength adequate for arduous labor as circumstances may require. -Must be particularly alert in observing hazards and avoiding accidents. -Must have had at least 5-years of experience in Plant, Switchboard or Sub-station operation or equivalent in operating experience and/or have completed a formal training program in Hydro Generation and related systems and/or the ability to demonstrate these skills on an appropriate test. -Must be qualified in CPR, and able to render practical First Aid. -Normal health, physique and use of senses as indicated by passing the required physical examination given by a Company physician, including color perception. -Should have no aversion to working in solitary situations. -Must be able to understand and diagnose problems related to Hydro Generation stations and related systems and perform the work to correct these problems. -Must be able to deal with the public in pleasant, tactful manner. -Must be able to receive and transmit orders and instructions in such a manner as to inspire respect and confidence of both superiors and subordinates. -Must be willing to work extra and/or irregular hours and/or a shift schedule. -Must be willing to work under unusual or special working conditions and surroundings, as well as the normal working conditions pertaining to this job.
