Tasks

-Engage with HVAC design engineers and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate technical alignment and successful project delivery. -Prepare, review, and ensure compliance with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings with relevant standards (BS7671/IET, IEC, UL). -Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for HVAC automation applications. -Develop comprehensive technical documentation including panel assembly instructions, testing protocols, and certification records. -Lead project management efforts encompassing scheduling, budgeting, risk evaluation, and cross-functional coordination. -Guarantee adherence to thermal management principles, electrical safety regulations, and health and safety legislation in all panel designs. -Collaborate with procurement teams for acquisition of high-quality electrical components and with assembly teams for panel manufacturing and installation. -Promote sustainable and energy-efficient design philosophies in alignment with evolving green technology standards. -Appropriately select, size, and integrate electrical components, including MCBs, contactors, relays, push buttons, terminal blocks, and wiring assemblies for motor controllers and VFD panels. -Ensure a customer-focused approach by prioritizing client requirements in design and problem-solving processes. -A customer-first orientation, ensuring solutions consistently address stakeholder needs. -Conduct electromagnetic interference (EMI) analyses, implementing suitable mitigation measures in accordance with standards such as MIL-STD-461. -Maintain a commitment to ongoing professional development in electrical, electronics, and HVAC domains. -Execute testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities to ensure optimal functionality, safety, and reliability of electrical panels and motor drive systems. -Engineer and develop electrical systems encompassing HVAC motor drives, fans, pumps, compressors, and VFD-based control panels.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline. -Expertise in VFD architecture, encompassing rectification, DC bus configuration, inverter operation, and variable motor speed control. -Competence in selecting and programming PLC hardware tailored for HVAC applications. -Capable of interpreting and generating detailed electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and associated documentation. -Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving aptitude. -Proficient in electrical wiring practices, cable management, and precision measurement techniques. -Familiarity with industry standards governing electrical panel design (BS7671/IET, IEC, UL) and relevant safety legislation. -Strong dedication to professional growth and contribution toward continuous improvement. -Proven ability in conducting EMI testing and implementing mitigation strategies compliant with MIL-STD-461. -Exemplary organizational skills with a focus on time management and result achievement. -Proactive and solution-oriented approach to product development and issue resolution. -Demonstrated project management proficiency and effective communication skills. -Profound understanding of circuit design, power systems, motor and fan control hardware, and control system engineering. -Exhibit proactive engagement in knowledge acquisition and meaningful contribution to organizational objectives. -Flexibility to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and adapt to changing technological environments. -Knowledge of ingress protection (IP) testing procedures and thermal management methodologies in panel design. -Demonstrate superior time management skills with disciplined focus on delivering measurable and timely outcomes. -Extensive experience (10 to 15 years) within the HVAC and/or Electrical Panel sectors.
