Tasks

-Using facing tools, Fischer saws, and other process related tools -Cuts pipe using saws, pipe cutter, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine -Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs to process and production equipment -Perform planned maintenance, inspection and installation on process and production equipment -Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and P&ID’s -Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains process and utility piping systems -Inspects work site to determine presence of obstructions and determine proper pipe path clearance -Follow job site safety and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area. Identify safety hazards and protect self and others

What You Bring

-OSHA 10/30 Certified -General knowledge of piping layout and routing -High school diploma or equivalent Candidates must have transportation and good communication skills -Ability to keep work ahead of welders -Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions -Orbital welding of sanitary tubing preferred -Knowledge of general piping systems -Combination fitter/welder is a plus -Be willing to work within a 50-mile radius. Willingness to travel to other states for work is a plus!
