Tasks
The Project Manager Multi-Family will provide overall leadership for projects to include: day-to-day execution, project cost, quality, risk, safety, and schedule management, and mentorship of fellow Bouten team members. This individual will be responsible for developing and enhancing relationships with our clients and other stakeholders including design professionals, trade partners and the communities where we build. -Assist with Bouten team member career development and conduct performance management reviews. -Lead the preconstruction effort with support from the preconstruction services team. -Support and advance company initiatives involving innovation and Lean project delivery. -Manage and lead project team to achieve outstanding project outcomes. -Assist with targeted business development and marketing strategies and assumes key role in project procurement. -Project financial management including: estimating, cost control, productivity tracking, forecasting, and billings. -Support self-perform work. -Create and maintain overall project schedule while working with the project superintendent including execution of the Last Planner System. -Identify and manage project risks. -Complete scope and bid package review including trade partner buy-out and contracting as well as ongoing cost management. -Collaborate with company safety director and superintendent to develop and implement a project-specific safety culture and plan.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties/responsibilities of this job. -Collaborative and engaging leadership style. -Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent. -Sense of urgency on important matters -5+ years' related multi-family experience, including managing projects $20m - $75m. -Highly organized and detail-oriented. -Ability to create and support positive team health and morale. -Complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting. -Understand owner contract requirements and ensure compliance. -Excellent follow-up and attention to details -Highly organized and detail-oriented -Experience with alternate project delivery methods (GC/CM, design-build, CMAR). -Excellent interpersonal and creative skills -Strong decision making and complex problem-solving skills. -Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment -Designed-Build experience preferred. -Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint), Procore, Timberline (Sage 300). -Ability to maintain focus on goals, combined with the flexibility to pivot when necessary -Detailed, hands-on knowledge of project scope. -Excellent communication skills.
