Account Manager

Overview

Manage sales of crushed rock and asphalt, grow market share in Central Alabama.

Tasks

-Maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and site visits. -Track inventory levels to ensure product availability. -Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive pricing to inform sales tactics. -Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and exceptional customer service. -Identify and bid on projects within the assigned territory. -Promote and sell crushed rock and asphalt products to contractors, municipalities, and industrial clients. -Provide accurate material quotes and manage orders through our tracking system. -Coordinate sales efforts across overlapping geographic markets and leverage the CRH portfolio. -Represent the company at industry events, training programs, and networking forums. -Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share and profitability.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). -Pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check. -Must be 18 years or older. -Ability to travel up to 25% and work nights/weekends as needed. -Prior experience in aggregate or asphalt sales strongly preferred. -Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. -Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred. -Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. -Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. -Minimum 2 years of sales experience in construction materials or a customer-facing role. -Must reside within the assigned territory. -Salesforce experience is a plus.
