  • Proficiency in 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks and Microsoft Office.
  • Available to work on-site in Decatur, GA.
  • 5+ years of experience in product development or sustaining engineering for lighting, appliances, or electro-mechanical consumer products.
  • Customer-Centric Thinking – Seeks a deep understanding of all stakeholders in the product ecosystem—including agents, specifiers, architects, and installers—to inform product decisions and enhance user experience.
  • Manufacturing Expertise – Experience in manufacturing operations and design for manufacturing with standard processes for part and assembly fabrication (sheet metal, machining, die casting, extrusion, etc.).
  • Lighting Industry Knowledge – Understanding of lighting industry technical areas, regulatory standards, and market expectations for lighting products. Knowledge of building codes and construction techniques as they relate to lighting products.
  • Available to travel domestically/internationally based on business needs.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset – Identifies opportunities and drives innovation with confidence.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with CAD data management systems.
