Wind Turbine Technician – Installation

Overview

Install and commission wind turbine components across North America.

Tasks

-Assist with torquing, tensioning, cabling, and alignment of turbine components. -Operate rigging, hoists, and power tools in compliance with safety regulations. -Install wind turbine components, including towers, nacelles, hubs, and blades. -Document work progress using job site reports and checklists. -Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of turbine systems. -Follow manufacturer installation manuals and technical documentation. -Adhere to OSHA, GWO, and site-specific safety protocols.

What You Bring

-1+ year of wind turbine installation or maintenance experience preferred (entry-level candidates with mechanical or electrical backgrounds may be considered). -Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in physically demanding environments. -Comfortable working at heights exceeding 300 feet. -GWO (Global Wind Organization) training preferred (can be provided). -Strong understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. -Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. -Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
