SANITATION SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

Overview

Supervises and coordinates waste collection and disposal for commercial/residential customers.

Key Responsibilities

• equipment maintenance
• field inspection
• collection scheduling
• chemical handling
• report preparation
• shift supervision

Tasks

-Oversees associates during a specific shift. -Prepares required status, maintenance, accident, injury and other reports; submits reports to supervisor. -Maintains appropriate office records and files. -Monitors and inspects the repair and preventive maintenance of equipment. -Performs field inspections to ensure collection is done safely and efficiently. -Schedules and supervises the daily collection of refuse and waste. -Investigates and responds to customer complaints promptly and tactfully. -Identifies and uses cleaning chemicals following directions recommended by manufacturers and per MSDS/SDS sheets.
