Overview

Inspect water/wastewater projects, ensure compliance, track work, and coordinate teams.

Tasks

-Determines when the project materials and procedures are not in compliance with project plans or specifications. Submit daily diaries or inspection logs, detailing all daily activities, labor, and equipment. -Coordinates with the contractor, owner and general public, as necessary, to facilitate construction operations. -Tracks and inspects daily activities of the contractor, measuring completed items of work and recording them for payment. -Inspect traffic controls and other worksite items for safety and compliance to standards. -Serve as a construction inspector on water/wastewater projects under the general supervision of the resident engineer. -Provide guidance and coordination to contractors and owners during equipment start-up of treatment and pumping station facilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years
  • driver’s license
  • high school

What You Bring

-5+ years of experience inspecting water/wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, and reservoirs. -Valid driver’s license -High school graduate/GED
