The Role

Overview

Manage daily logistics, coordinate shipments, ensure customs compliance, and lead the local team.

Tasks

-Ensure adherence to DGFT, GST, and international trade requirements. -Serve as a point of contact for clients and internal teams regarding shipment updates. -Provide training and guidance to team members on SOPs and operational tasks. -Maintain professional and timely communication, ensuring strong client and stakeholder relationships. -Assist in managing imports, exports, and inter-branch shipments. -Liaise with internal departments, warehouses, and freight partners to ensure smooth cargo movement. -Track shipments, report delays or issues, and help resolve them in a timely manner. -Coordination with Global Logistics Team -Supervise the local logistics team, assign daily tasks, and monitor workflow. -Prepare and validate import/export documentation in compliance with Indian -Assist in preparing reports on shipment status, delivery performance, and logistics KPIs. -Encourage collaboration with other teams for consistent logistics processes. -Plan and monitor shipment schedules to help ensure timely delivery. -Coordinate with other global logistics team members to ensure smooth operations. -Provide regular updates and shipment status reports. -Support customs clearance processes in coordination with brokers and authorities. -Identify minor process improvements and suggest solutions -Support the Logistics Coordinator and global team in executing logistics plans and policies.

What You Bring

-Minimum 5+ years in logistics coordination, shipping, or supply chain operations. -Prior experience supervising or leading a small team is preferred. -Communicate proactively on shipment status, delays, or issues. -Strong knowledge of Indian customs procedures and international shipping. -Any educational background is acceptable, provided the candidate has proven experience in logistics operations. -Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
