Tasks

-Develop and own the company-wide IT roadmap, aligning technology initiatives with business goals -Build and manage scalable, reliable, and secure IT infrastructure across office locations and contract manufacturing sites -Partner with executives and department heads to identify and implement technology solutions that drive efficiency and growth -Develop and manage incident response and disaster recovery plans -Lead IT operations including helpdesk support, asset management, and employee onboarding/offboarding, fostering excellent service -Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect customer information, intellectual property, and corporate data -Develop and manage the annual IT budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation -Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met -Partner with software engineering to maintain compliance with relevant frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II) -Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team with a collaborative and innovative culture -Manage our corporate SaaS portfolio (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, HubSpot, etc.), ensuring effective license management, integration, and security -Establish IT policies, best practices, and standard operating procedures across the organization -Oversee identity and access management (IAM), endpoint security (EDR, MDM), and network security protocols

What You Bring

-Deep understanding of identity management (Okta, Entra ID), MDM, and modern networking (Zero Trust, SASE) -Hands-on, "roll-up-your-sleeves" approach—comfortable moving between strategic planning and tactical execution -Strong communication skills with ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization -Proven track record building and scaling IT functions in fast-paced, high-growth technology companies -Budget management experience and vendor negotiation skills -Strong cybersecurity knowledge and experience implementing security frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001) -Experience in companies with both hardware and software engineering teams -Expertise with Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Atlassian, and MDM platforms (Intune, Kandji, or similar) -Experience managing business systems such as ERP, CRM, and HRIS -8+ years in IT with at least 3 years in senior leadership (Head of IT, IT Director, or equivalent) -Background in SaaS, IoT, or energy technology sectors
